PROCESS:
Once you have decided which style you like (Colored pencils, Pastels, mixed media or a PAWPRINT) we can now proceed to the next step:
1. You will need to send me a few of your favorite pictures of your loved pet. IT'S NOT EASY I KNOW! No worries I am here to help. Feel free to send me as many as you'd like and together we can choose the best for your drawing.
2. Once you have placed your order and sent me a picture I will inform you when your portrait will be made (Please take in mind that once an order is placed it takes about 4-6 weeks till it is shipped).
3. During the process, I will send you a sneak peek of the drawing so you will be able to sleep better at night ;)
4. Finally, your order will be shipped and should arrive within 7-10 business days worldwide!
WHAT STYLE SHOULD I CHOOSE? WHAT IS MIXED MEDIA?
If you are reading this I imagine you took a minute to check out my products. It may be confusing how to decide which portrait style to choose for your furry pet. LET ME MAKE IT SIMPLE:
Colored pencils: Precise art, more realistic with high details (good pictures are highly recommended).
Pastels: Precise art, very realistic with high details, softer look than colored pencils (good pictures are highly recommended but works well also with older pictures).
Mixed Media: A combination of digital art and colored pencils. Has a more modern arty look to it. Fewer details than pencils or pastels.
PAWPRINT: 100% one of a kind digital art. You will receive the file via e-mail and will be able to print it however your heart desires.
WHICH PICTURES SHOULD I SEND:
Not all of us are professional photographers, but almost all of us have a smartphone nowadays, which actually makes it very easy to take a good photo.
Tips:
1. LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT. I can't emphasize this enough. outdoors make the pictures much better and detailed!
2. Your pet is the one I want to see :) So get as close as you can for a good picture.
3. He or She doesn't really love the camera? Well, they all love treats :) Have them sit, stand or lay down and hold a treat in front of them (don't forget to give it to them after, haha).
4. Do they have a favorite something they always love carrying around or sleeping with? Try to catch that in the photo, it always adds a little extra something to your drawing.
